Six precautions to be taken when installing electric valves

view :

When installing electric valves, the electric equipment and the valve together form the electric valve. The equipment conditions of electric equipment largely depend on the equipment condition of the valve. In order to ensure that the electric valve can operate correctly and reliably after being put into operation, it is necessary to not only ensure the correct equipment of the electric equipment, but also pay attention to the equipment of the valve. When using equipment valves, attention should be paid to the requirements for their matching operation with electric equipment.

(1) The valve should be installed on a horizontal pipeline as much as possible and the valve body should be vertical (the valve stem should be vertical and above the horizontal line). This is because the preferred orientation for electric equipment is vertical (the output sodium is vertical and installed above the valve body). From the perspective of the valve itself, vertical equipment is also advantageous because the vertical equipment is easy to maintain and protect; When horizontally installed, due to uneven temperature of the valve components, the sealing structure is simple and easy to repair.

(2) The direction of rotation of the valve stem nut should be the same as the direction of rotation of the output shaft of the electric equipment. From the end of the valve stem, the valve stem nut rotates clockwise to form a closed valve; Rotate counterclockwise to open the valve, which is the standard direction of rotation for the valve. When the rotation direction is different from the standard rotation direction, the valve should be retrofitted, because retrofitting electric equipment is much more difficult and sometimes even impossible.

(3) The operating mechanism of important valves should be guided to the position where the duty personnel can reach briefly, such as channels at the same elevation as the control room. At this point, the electric equipment is selected as a floor mounted device and connected to the valve through a universal coupling.
