What is the difference between static balance valve and dynamic balance valve

view :

The static balance valve (also known as the digital locking balance valve) needs to be debugged and locked by a dedicated intelligent instrument at once to control the total water volume of the system within a reasonable range. However, every modification requires the valve to be re locked by the instrument. The dynamic one is self reliant and does not need to be so troublesome. It relies on the pressure changes of the regulated medium in the pipeline network to automatically maintain a constant flow rate. The static one is slightly cheaper in engineering cost.

The working principle of dynamic balance valve: By changing the flow area of the valve core of the balance valve to adapt to the changes before and after the valve, the purpose of controlling flow is achieved.

What is the difference between static balance valve and dynamic balance valve

The working principle of static balance valve: By changing the clearance (opening) between the valve core and valve seat, the flow resistance flowing through the valve is changed to achieve the purpose of regulating flow. Its function is to regulate the system's resistance, which can balance and distribute new water according to the proportion calculated in the design. Each branch is increased or decreased proportionally at the same time, still meeting the flow demand of some loads under the current climate needs, playing a role in thermal balance.

Both static and dynamic balance valves are impedance components themselves, especially dynamic balance valves, which require the system to consider the additional head caused by the balance valve when selecting water pumps.
