Precautions for Installation of Low Temperature Gate Valves

1. Before installing the low-temperature gate valve, it is necessary to check the valve chamber and sealing surface, and no dirt or sand particles are allowed to adhere to them;

2. All connecting bolts should be tightened evenly;

3. Check the packing area and ensure that it is tightly pressed to ensure both the sealing of the packing and the flexible opening of the ram;

4. Before installing the valve, users must verify the valve model, connection size, and pay attention to the flow direction of the medium to ensure consistency with the valve requirements;

5. When installing valves, users must reserve the necessary space for valve actuation;

6. The wiring of the drive device must be carried out according to the circuit diagram;

7. The gate valve must be regularly maintained and must not be collided or squeezed arbitrarily to avoid affecting the sealing.

The types of gate valves can be divided into wedge gate valves and parallel gate valves according to the sealing surface configuration. Wedge gate valves can also be divided into single gate * type, double gate plate type, and elastic gate plate type; Parallel gate valves can be divided into single gate and double gate types. According to the thread position of the valve stem, it can be divided into two types: rising stem gate valve and non rising stem gate valve.

When the gate valve is closed, the sealing surface can only rely on medium pressure to seal, that is, relying on medium pressure to press the sealing surface of the gate plate towards the other side of the valve seat to ensure the sealing surface, which is self sealing. Most gate valves use forced sealing, which means that when the valve is closed, external force is used to forcefully press the gate plate towards the valve seat to ensure the sealing surface is sealed.
